so yesterday I removed both front headlights ad was about to replace my low beams with 6000k bulbs. But found out that it's not doable. Hasanyome changed their low beam bulbs? If so how? The h7 bulbs I have 6000k won't fit. I was unable to remove the current h7 bulb from the plate it's attached to. How do I do tips or is it a whole piece that needs replaced?....

Your headlights should be D1S bulb. You don't have H7 since you have HIDs. But the high beam should be a H11.

I am very picky with lights, so on all my cars I replace the bulbs with 6000K ones, which are white, rather than yellow-ish white (4300K).
You lose output with going higher than 4300K. Especially when it rains.

Got the HID kit and everything went great. About 10 minutes for each side, and no error messages. Only issue is that the 6000k HID bulbs I got are much bluer than the 4300k headlight. The supplier is willing to swap them for me. Should I do the swap???

what brand of bulbs did you install?
I personallydon't like the "blue" / "ricey" look.
I like the white light/stock/bright.

Choice is yours, but what brand of components are you using?
Heard GE was the best.

katheikia - APEXCONE?

They make a decent ballast and HID kit for the money that you just mentioned. The best kit I had in the past was CATZ but they were expensive but top notch.

I have ran APEXCONE bulbs and HID kits and no problems with them.

The DSP kits at Xenon is nice.

I like 5K bulbs as they are white with a small small hint of blue and lose just under 6% of the lumen output compared to about 15-20% with the 6000K.

Do you guys realize that when you install both same temp. HID (eg. 6000k) on the low beam and fog light. It will always look bluer on the fog. I found mine and my friend's to be like that. Is it because of the projector that makes the difference?
