I just ordered Michelin latitude tour hp in 275/45/20. I was wondering how urgent a realignment will be. - Did you get an alignment at the same time?

no alignment - original tires wore evenly and tracked straight. I would realign only if I saw a previous issue. Also, my overall circumference was only changed slightly so I don't expect any issues with caster/camber/ etc.

the Audi Q7 can be ordered here in Europe with different wheels in 20". they look like the BBS wheels and have 10" wide, and ET44 - the Audi code is 4LO 601 025 G - and these are 2 piece rims . The point is that when you order in EXCLUSIVE TRIMM, it will come with these wheels and tires 295/40/20".
I love them, and I hope someday I'll found one to test fit them on my car.

Tire question

First, I would just like to commend you on your choices for your “S”. I am new to this forum and have read most of your posts and viewed your pics. You’ve done some unique work on that buggie and it looks awesome. As for me, I am in the process of buying an 08 CTT which has stock 17” rims (yuck!). I want to upgrade to some 20’s before I even take it home to show mom (the wife that is). I love how your wheels look with the 275/45/20 Yoko’s and want to go with that size tire to stay smooth on the Long Island Distressway. My only concern is with some of the posts that mention a problem with braking caused by the alteration of the collective diameter. How are they working out for you? Are you having a problem with your brakes and is that why you’re changing your pads? Thanks.

For me, going from the 18's to 20 was the right thing. I gained noticible handling and ride peformance. It sounds hard to believe but my "18 stockers with the OEM bridgestones rode harder then my 20's. I was debating the 40/45 profile choice for a while, but having seen the 40's in person, I can say that without droping the vehicle, they look out of place (I am glad I went 45). Concerning brakes, I am painting my calipers so I am going to replace the pads and rotors at the same time. Do I need to do this? Hell no, but I have a vision for the final look and therefore i will see it through. As I am going for the update, I am asking about pads as the stock pads throw alot of dust and I am tired of cleaning my new wheels every 2 days.

Concerning your choice - DEF get the rims on before the wife sees the car as you will prob catch the same crap I cought. This is usually " why are you messing with your new car?" question followed by a justification for them spending a few grand on pocketbooks and shoes.

Hey BigDog, are those 20x9 or 20x10's that you are riding? If 20 x10's, does it affect whether you can still use 275/45?

Thanks for all the detail in this thread. Definitely going for 275/45/20 when we get new tires (very soon).

275/45/20 installed. Loving them. Fill up the wheel gap just enough to get rid of any of that "roller-skatey" look I thought it had. I'll try and get pics up soon.

Old thread but there was never an answer if specifically 275/55R20 will fit on the Cayenne. It is well known that 265/65R18’s will fit, and their specs are 31.6” diameter, 10.4” width. 275/55R20’s are 31.9” diameter and 10.8” width, so very close. I’m going off road with a 2004 CTT and want every bit of sidewall I can get without changing rims. Looking at the Nitto Terra Grappler G2’s.

Anyone actually try this? Thanks!
