Question My CTT is going in for the EVOMS ECU upgrade

I'm dropping my CTT off tomorrow morning for an ECU upgrade. My tuner claims there's a few different ECU tunes available for the CTT.

He's estimating my HP gain to be in the 50HP range..I find this quite optimistic.

Has anybody here had there CTT ECU remapped with the EVOMS tune? I'm told the biggest gain is in the low and midrange area..Turbo lag is reduced significantly.

Jeff - after your mod, let's compare our "thrust". What's your anticipated HP / Torque values, post EVOMS tweaks? Are you going to do a pre- and post- Dyno run to see the numbers?

Norman- I don't think All German Auto has a dyno. If they do, I will definitely have them pull pre tune and post tune.
The tech claims 50HP and 40TQ.

Jeff... glad your doing the ECU mod! Your going to love it.., the car should have came out of the factory this way. I'm curious to hear what you think of the EVOMS. My GIAC tune is great.. however its a bit sensitive w/ throttle.. more muscle car I guess.

I need to get this on the dyno.., maybe I'll do it next week. Definitely post your dyno.. I'm very curious as we have similar mods.

Oh, you're taking your CTT to AGA ... I've had pretty good results/service from those boys with my 500E. I look forward to your post-mod experience.

Alex- the tech suggested that i replace the factory Diverter Valves with EVOMS diverter valves.
What are your thoughts? Do you see any benefit in upgrading them?

On the 09s? They're not the same as the Gen one Cayenne's but no problems here thus far

Ah sorry confused. OK well they're a bit of PIA to install but to be honest you're not running all that much boost on those so you should be ok on stockers. We've got cars with over 80k on them and still the originals but if you've got parts coming off already then go for it...

Will be interesting to see the results. I know on uk vmax days that GT2s & turbos with the same headline numbers as Ruf conversions but at considerably lesser expense somehow seem to end up going much slower and later through the timing gate...

Just changed the coil packs on my car and its so much better now!

p.s. can you dyno Cayennes safely? The car manual says not to?

EVO tune rocks!! Definitely two thumbs up
IMO it pulls much harder through out all RPM's. But after 3K RPM's it really lights up.

I was told the boost was increased from 11PSI to approx 16-17PSI.

Glad you like it! Doing an 05 CTT on Thursday. Just keep an eye on your plugs and coil packs as the mileage gets higher....

Alex thanks for the input! I just had my plugs replaced at 50K miles. Should i have the coil packs replaced as a preventive measure?

Also what are your thoughts on the Milltek Sport exhaust on a CTT? I came across a smokin deal and i'm thinking of having it installed.
