it's the option called "Variable assist steering". I think it's a great option and I enjoy it... It makes the steering feel lighter at lower speeds and harder at higher speeds and also arranges the turning ratios as you speed up...

I don't think you have many options in your case. Maybe you should learn to live with it, considering your garage, you can try driving your Porsche as a relaxing daily driver with a light steering wheel...

i agree 100% - my CTT had it but i drove a GTS for a few weeks that didn't have that option and it was so nice.

would love to be able to "disable" it.

Coming from driving a BMW X5, I can tell you guys that it takes a while to get use to the "light" steering wheel. I wish they only boosted the steering by 50%...would have felt much better.

I just removed fuse #49 on left side fuse panel on side of dash and it fixed the servotronic light steering feel immediately. very happy with the feel of my CTT right now. feels like the GTS i test drove before i purchased my TT. thanks for the good info on the site.

Interesting - glad you found a solution. I didn't know there was an option for lighter steering feel for the 957. I kept thinking the steering on my 957 CTT is sublime, so I do not know what those guys are talking about - clearly I was missing something ..

How much air do you have in the front wheels? Try putting in about 37psi.
