radio ariel....
radio ariel....
the reception on my radio is very poor, it only holds the signal for 20 miles or so, where as the same stations can be held for over 50 miles in our nissan 350Z?
is there any way an aftermarket ariel can be fitted to the roof (like a bmw sharks fin) and connected to the rear of the radio/sat nav unit?
and where is the built in ariel on our cars? is it in the rear window?
thank you.

radio antenna is on the rear spoiler, however I don't think there's anything wrong with the antenna, I'd rather check the connectors or the wiring, if it's an old cayenne, otherwise the radio could be broken. The built-in antenna on my cayenne is working flawless.
thanks for the reply, there is nothing wrong with the radio, its crystal clear...it just roams out of signal (the received signal is not strong enough) i can only put this down to ariel strength/quality?
