Transsyberia Delivered Today
Its a nice ride, but I've got way too many SUV's as it is. My closest Porsche dealer is 300 miles away. If that one pisses me off I'll go to another. Sorry to hear your dealer is no good, though.
If I have to lose a few grand in the deal, it's more than worth it for the peace of mind.
No there is one other. However, past experience with other marques has shown you're treated like a 2nd Class citizen, if you didn't purchase it from the servicing dealer. Maybe Porsche dealers are different.
Never had any trouble with Audi, BMW or Mercedes. Always treated very well, no matter where I purchased.
I'm taking my Cayenne in for the first time on Monday. The dealership usually only gives loaners when you purchase there, but they pulled a Cayenne for me as a loaner. No second class treatment there and I bought the car from another dealer.
If your skirt is so twisted about the dealer, contact Porsche customer service and explain your concerns. I'm sure you'll have a new tire and get reimbursed for the 2 qts of oil.

The big potato is the dealer's attitude after the sale was consummated. No "I'll still love you afterwards" there.
Enough on this topic. I've made my case. Further "yack" is not required.
PS - I'm still seeking a good Indy in Atlanta.

I had the tire repaired, and purchased and added the oil myself. Very small potatoes.

I can tell you that my purchasing dealer was a lot worse than yours

Enjoy your Cayenne. Be sure to post some offroading pics.
Perhaps so, but mine was more than bad enough for me.
I just got a call from a mutual friend. He got an email from the salesman asking him to ask me to go easy on them when I get the customer satisfaction survey.
He has to be kidding!

Tell him free 1st service and a new tire will go a long way towards making you a happier customer... at least for the purposes of the survery.
