04 CTT engine power tunes

I was too busy doing the bodywork of my car, which i'm converting a 04 CTT to 09 Rinspeed x-treme..

Anyway, not too much left on the project, now I want to focus on engine tuning.

What i'm thinking is to get IPD Plenum, Evoms intakes, BMC filters, fabspeed cat bypass and e-cutout exhausts. And lastly a REVO ECU remap.

This is what I have in my mind. Am I missing anything ? The only piece that i'm not sure bout it is the ecu remap. I had an Audi and with Revo it was a beast, but never tried it on a Porsche. It's a very well known company around Europe. I read some folks are recommending evomsit and some other, but it's kinda hard to find those here in Europe.

So, need a hand, please post your pros and cons about these products and give me your recommendations.

btw, how much hp should I gain with these upgrades?

cheers

If I could ever make it to the dragstrip again I could tell you. I'm running a Powerchip and like it so far. Should be in the 520-530hp range with everything installed, but again, once I hit the track I can extrapolate some of that.

Smoother daily driving. The tune made the biggest difference in power. I was just fortunate to find the other parts used so I bought them first as they popped up. The Powerchip also has throttle remapping so it does something like the sprint booster thing, there is less lag on the throttle. All in all, it operates more smoothly than stock. It also makes more noise, but it is not too loud. The Evoms kit adds more noise than the bypass pipes did in the cabin. You can hear the diverter valves opening and the resulting rush of air more. Plus you can also hear the air suspension bleed/hiss from time to time. I'll be cleaning the filters soon to see if anythng is getting past them. But all in all it added more performance, better sound (IMO), and increased mileage slightly (when I'm not getting into it). At this point I'll just be adding a Dension unit for my iphone and be "done" with the mods.

I'm not a big fan of blow off valves (I assume it's the same with DV's) because every j-tuners has it, and I don't want my pepper to sound like an Impreza or turbocharged civic, i find them annoying.

Is it really that annoying on a CTT, or is the BOW's and DV's serves for different things and makes different sounds ?

BTW, don't get me wrong, maybe you are fan of BOW sound, and everybody has their own taste, i'm just curious about the sound level

The DVs are recirculating. The ones I have don't make any more noise than the stockers. The airboxes did a lot to keep the noise down, so the more open air filter elements in the Evoms kit let the noise out a bit more.

Yes, it is the same effect at the Evo/STi crowd... with the EVOMS intake you will hear the factory diverter/blow off valves much more and it is noticeable. Of course, I like it personally so it does not bother me.
