Back in the Porsche Family w/ an 05 CTT but have many Q's

Hey guys,

Just got back into the family with a black/sand beige '05 CTT with the following options:

5MG - Dark Burr Wood Package
2JC - Stainless Steel Nose Trim
PO4 - Light Comfort Package/Memory
3FE - Moonroof
QV4 - Satellite Radio XM
CS6 - 20" Cayenne Sport Techno Wheel
7A2 - 6 Disc CD Changer
1NP - Wheel Hub Covers Colored Crest
P87 - Convenience Package
0TD - Front and Rear Floor Mats
7X1 - Rearview Camera w/Park Assist

It's been a blast to drive and feels like a really well put together car. I have a few questions that I hope a few of the seasoned Cayenne vets can help with.

1. Which brand is best for iPod integration? (e.g. Dension, NavTV, etc.)
2. It looks like it has a Tooki installed (screen reads Tooki searching), but my '05 does NOT have a phone button. How do I get the Tooki to interface with my phone?
3. Which roof rack option do I pick? I read somewhere that the rails were no good and it's better to buy the cross bars. Is this true?
4. How do you save gas and not get tempted to floor the car at every open stretch of road? :D

Here's a quick pic. Thanks fellas!

congrats. I am looking to get back into one myself as well.
How much did this set you back if you do not mind PMing me the info.
I am looking at possibly new CS or used TT like yours.

PM sent :)

New CS or used CTT? I don't think you have a bad choice in either!

Good luck on your search!

1. I have the NavTV and am not happy with it. Sounds great but too glitchy. Heard good things about the Dension system.
2. Can't help you.
3. I opted to skip the Porsche rails and bars and went with the Thule system. The feet bolt right into the roof channel. Crossbars can then lock into the feet. When not in use, the crossbars are easy to remove for less wind noise and a cleaner look. I also use different crossbars fitted with different sport accessories (ski rack for the winter and bike or cargo rack for the summer).
4. I got 4 tickets in 10 months. That quieted me right down.

Thanks for the answers :)

I will start researching the Dension option, as I had it on my 911 before and was satisfied with it (not perfect, but worked 90% of the time).

Again, thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it.
