Actually, I'm new and probably only a very short time for the future with the Cayenne; but I find that Renntech.org is the best source for technical info.

Rennlist and Renntech, IMO, seems to tackle the more technical and DIY sides of our cars. 6speed seems to be more on aesthetics and aftermarket mods. It is more fun to be here, if you ask me. I use the formers for more mechanical research but still have 0 posts. Besides, those sites give me more stress regarding the blown-up engine issue. But they do give valuable information that is less seen on 6speed. IMHO, it is beneficial to P-car owners to be members on at least several of these forums to be more knowledgable on all aspects of our cars.

There is a reason why the marketplace requires minimum number of posts, as well as other rules. Members of this forum should expect a to purchase items as described, for prices listed without scams, spams, or people who will "disappear" from the forum immediately after receiving payment. Often times, moderators can assist if problems arise. As an example...if a forum member had joined Jan 28, 2009, and in a year's period has posted 11 times and deleted 7 posts, and only visits the site sporadically, how many forum members would feel comfortable interacting in a transaction with that member?

No one wants to spend thousands of dollars on a sports car only to be screwed because someone took the money and ran.

If you think this is Hitler-esque, there are other venues that may you may find more accommodating. I'd say the majority of users here are happy with their transactions because of the rules, not in spite of them.

Cheers
