Stupid noisy front wipers and front brakes

I have been bothered by noisy front wipers and noisy front brakes for the longest time in my CTT.

Dealer checked the front brakes and said the noise is normal...then they later said a lot of customers had complained and they have reflected to Porsche. Let's see what will happen...

Now the wipers. The noise is coming from the driver side front wiper only. Already changed new ones for 4 times. Each new one is good for a few weeks or less. Tried multiple applications of RainX or even some wax on the glass and/or wiper. Again each time will work for a few days and noise reappear.

Getting very frustrated. Need to turn up the music to mask these stupid noise. Any thoughts?

z145433 is infamous around these parts
I love it when the service guy's final answer is that the noise(or whatever problem) is normal. if that were the case you'd think they wouldn't even have to check it.

anyway, I had the wiper noise, dealer changed blades and it stopped.
my impression was that the wiper went too far to the left, causing the noise.
maybe you can try adjusting the movement.

Concerning your wiper noise, I would get everything off the windshield first (use ammonia and newspaper) and then replace the blade. You might be fine for the first few weeks as the wiper maybe nice and clean - e.g. devoid of any 3rd party wax or treatment. After a few weeks, you might be picking up "product" on the blade. This is the lowest cost method. If that does not work, maybe your LS wiper arm is slightly bent ( have seen this ruin new blades).

Concerning brakes - my rears squeaked for the first 3,000 miles and just when I learned to live with it, the noise went away. If you are long past that point, and the noise is driving your nuts, try a new set of aftermarket pads (Eagle dustless are pretty cheap, through no dust and are pretty dam quite).

All of this is just my opinion so take it for what its worth
