Two things about Porsche:

1. The options typically run $21k or more per vehicle.

2. Resale value seems to fail to consider those pricey options.

Indeed, one can buy a whole new vehicle based upon the cost differences between one level and the next AND then considering the "options," one can buy a really nice vehicle.

Porsche averages $20k profit per vehicle. I believe most of that profit is derived from options.
