Drive-train Slop - Anyone else feeling this?

I've had my '06 CTT for 10K and have noticed some slop while driving at slower speeds. It has 64K miles on it and I don't know if the drive-shaft has ever been replaced. Here is what I'm experiencing.

Driving anywhere from 10 to 40 MPH if I let off the gas and coast and then give it gas again it clunks slightly such as slop in the drive-train would cause. It's not very bad I don't recall noticing it for the first 6K miles I owned it. May have been there and I'm just now noticing it...

Anyways, anyone else have this in there CT? Do you know what causes it (U-joint, drive-shaft bearing, etc?).

Thanks for the help.

Your Cardan shaft has probably failed. Especially, if its felt 'center' of the car. WELL known issue.
Its only the bearing within, nothing else. Dealer will rob you. Fix yourself.

Either find a decent 4x4 shop to re-press a new bearing for $250 ...OR.. get one from www.vertexauto.com for $389. You have to drop the exhaust, so if handy its DIY. If not, take to decent INDY.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll inspect the drive shaft. If that is what it turns out to be I'll be able to replace it myself. I'll let you know what I find.
