the turbe motor is a better built motor. I wish I knew that before I bought my 2005 s. The engine block is a better quality material. Whereas the s is def poor material. If you don't methodically change your oil sat every 6000 miles. You will get scoring of the cylinders as they break down very easy giving off particles into your oil which will then score your cylinder walls
