Cool The Reveal...The Courting Ritual of a 2nd-Gen Turbo and a Man.. [XL PICS..no 56K]

Yes, we are finally here at the reveal...

My teaser thread got so much traffic that I had to ask for the mods to close the thread... j/k

Here she is as she arrived fresh off the truck. A natural beauty indeed.

Well after freshening up and a change of clothes, she came out more Megan Fox than Julia Roberts. Not that that is a bad thing at all .

Here she now after her transformation:

-----------------------------

So what was done?

A) Blacked out trim
B) Clear corners
C) Custom "Design Edition" graphics
D) Custom made "Turbo" emblem in rear
E) Smoked and cleared tail lights
D) Swapped amber turn signal bulbs to Sylvania Silverstar (bluish tint)
F) 22" Rinspeed (gunmetal) / Yokohama Para Spec-X 285/35/22
G) Fabricated Secondary Cat Bypass Pipes ($140 in 304 SS parts )

H) Install AP Billet Diverter Valves

I) Install BMI Air Filters
J) Softronics ECU Tune/ 93 Octane. Estimated HP/TQ @ crank: ~590hp / 590TQ.
K) LED exterior lighting
L) Matching woodgrain steering wheel
M) Install SprintBooster (3-mode: Off, Sport, Race)
N) Removed front license plate

Upcoming mods is a larger throttle body and replace that restrictive plenum.

Pretty sexy huh?

Thanks alot for the kind words guys!

I ended up photoshopping this makeover before I made any changes to the stock truck. It came out just as I planned.

I know this is a little aggressive for the conservative crowd, however, I feel like this setup best fits what I am personally looking for.

My philosophy was that it was no point buying what I consider to be a supercar and then have it blend in with the rest of the base Cayennes' and Range Rovers' in my area.

I think I now have too many staring faces

I may have missed it, but is it a "Porsche Design"?

Just kidding, not my taste but if you are happy with it that is all that matters.

PS. Love the wheels!

there were a few other cayennes that came with the porsche design styling done here.......It can be purchased from porsche if wanted.

I would almost wonder why you didnt do LED tail lamps.....one of my to do.s

Looks great and very smart to refresh the vehicle itself and give it more personality...

When my 06 is paid off, very shortly, the turbo with mods similar to yours is on my radar.......and way more affordable than a turbo P car in the same age...

so the graphic strip is "exclusive" from porsche? or can be bought (or custom made) from any shop that does vinyl graphics?

i just got dented today and i'm pissed.. thinking of how to fix the dent or "cover" with a graphic just like this thinking this would be a cheaper alternative? and if it is (cheaper), then it'll make my cayenne much more cooler ;-)

The 08 Turbo's came with LED tails from the factory. It is hard to see when they are not in use since they are smoked
