Cool Anyone running a larger tire than 285/35/22 ..on a 22 of course.

Cooked off the inside of my rear tires from too much camber. (literally belts showing)

Looking at tires and curious if anyone is running a 285/40 or 295/35 etc?

Hi Cole,

here is mine, normal level (Techart lowering module)

the tires are Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 305/35/22. Rims are 11.5 in the rear and 10 in the front. Not as smooth as the 18" set, but ride is much better than the 295/30/22 & 335/25/22 that I used to have on the same rims.

Question

do those fender extensions actually allow you to run a bigger tire, or are they purely cosmetic?

Well, the tire thing had to happen today since I have guests coming into town and need the CTT. Picked up a set of BFG KDW2, being mounted in a few minutes. Stuck with the 285/35/22 since they had thein stock.

i too went with the 305/30/22 Vredestein - great tire very happy with them. I will note that they also have the proper load rating 110 for the cayenne. Most places will not install the 285's anymore as they typically have a 102-106 load rating and the minimum is 109. To me that's a big safety thing! Just FYI.
