How much is 2011 cayenne oil change cost?

Hello Folks,

It's my first post on this forum. My 2011 Cayenne V6 just hit 10k miles, and I took it to local dealer here in Bellevue, WA. I am only getting an oil change and the dealer charged me $299.

I felt like getting rip-off for $299 for just an oil change. They said they also checked the fluids and stuff, but c'mon, it's still too expensive.

If I compare the oil change for my other car 2006 E350 which has comparable engine of 3.5L V6, it only costs me $120 at the same exact dealer (yes they have Benz, Audi and porsche)

What is the oil change price for 2011 cayenne at your local dealership? I'd like to compare and contrast.

also, any recommendation for cheaper way to do it? No, I don't plan to go jiffy lube . Some has recommended to buy your own oil then bring it to local dealer to have them do the job so we can just pay the labor. Has anyone done that? How much savings did you get vs dealer standard cost?

80 bucks plus the cost of 10 quarts of oil. Buy the oil on your own 0-40 mobile 1 then just pay for the labor.

Jace, does 80 bucks only cover the labor? Or does it includes the oil filter too?

What's an oil filter, 15 bucks?
I'd say without it.
So 80 + oil + filer.

Prob cost you less than half at an indy. I usually go to West Werks in Redmond but there are a lot of good indy shops on the eastside. We picked ours up from Barrier too.

I must ask, does offical porsche dealer allow you to do this? (you buy oil/filter and ask them for a labor)

Uh most certainly.
Done it before.
And I wouldn't take my car outside a Porsche dealer for regular maintenance.

I just had mine done (2004 Cayenne S). It cost me $254.00 it included 10 quarts of 0W40, oil filter, o-rings, drain plug gasket, rags, hand cleaner, car wash, computer sweep, software updates, 2 cups of coffee and a loaner car. Total cost of labor was only $115.00 and that's not really a bad price.

RT,

No matter where you go, it is a rip off. I have been quoted $325, all the way down to 180. Id throw on a pair of old golf shorts and get under there. I paid to have the first one done and just asked to stand in with the tech, claiming i just purchased the vehicle and wanted the chance to see underneath it while it was on the lift. he let me watch, we struck up a conversation, and then he plugged in the porsche computer and asked me if i wanted other information or to turn the seat belt chime off. I got him to disable the service beep and seat belt chimes. I have changed the oil twice since then. Its a simple job as the porsches are clean as a whistle underneath. 10mm socket, phillips head schrewdriver, ratchet, 10" extension, are all the tools you need. grab a couple rags, order your filter and new drain plugs with washer from suncoast, buy the 0w-40 at a retailer on sale and you can squeak the entire job out for about $90. its fun when it comes down to it.

I would never have anyone do an oil change. I did a full synthetic oil change with a Porsche filter in my driveway for $75.00

My dealer turned my oil change reminder off for nothing. These cars aren't any more difficult to do oil changes than any other car out there.
