Need your opinion on a potential purchase of this '06 V6 Cayenne
Happy new year to all. Our good family friend is interested in a used Cayenne and recently test drove this '06 V6 version.

Her current car is a FX 35 and her son is going to take that for his college. She loved the way the Cayenne handled. Given the family situation she does not want to spend over 30K for the purchase. Knowing my love for Porsches, her question for me was is this a right car at the right price. She understands that Porsches are not cheap to maintain but did not want a lemon right off the gates. I'll be going to the dealer with her in a week to test drive and negotiate. I don't know much about the first gens. So here are my questions to my beloved RL'ers:
1. Thoughts on what is a good price for this particular vehicle ?
2. Not being a CPO'ed vehicle makes me nervous. Is it kosher to have another near by dealer PPI the car and would you do that given how limited this warranty is ?
3. Besides looking for a thorough maintenance record in the past, the customary coolant pipe upgrade and watching out for vibration from the driveshaft during a test drive any other issues/problems that are known to occur or worth considering on this year model ?
4. Can it be CPO'ed for an additional cost ?
Thanks in advance for all the replies.
