GTS options questions
Was the GTS available with the keyless go system, and the panoramic moonroof? Did they have to be special ordered or something, or are they just very rare?
I saw some info online stating that the Keyless Go system may in fact be standard on the GTS, is that true and most used listings just don't show the little knobby thing, or the **** needs to be purchased separately?
Thanks.

The keyless go is optional..and seemingly rare to me because I spent a long, long time trying to find a GTS with it. Finally did last week and promptly bought it..waiting for delivery now. I felt it should be standard for a car of this caliber..but, of course, it is Porsche we are talking about where options abound! I always have full hands and it was one thing i really wanted..weird I know..but needed.
If the car does have Entry & Drive (Keyless), but no plastic key, you can pick one up at the dealer for less than $20. I found more GTS's with Panoramic than Entry & Drive as well. Keep in mind that some have found the Panoramic option to be quite noisy after some time, while others really haven't. Your experience may vary.
Good luck with the search!

Porsche is basically the "Mortons" of cars. Almost everything is "a la cart". Some people think this is bad and cars this expensive should have more options standard. Porsche does this so people can afford the true Porsche, style, power and handling, without having to pay for all the extra options. It does make it difficult when comparing used Cayenne's though. Hard to find two of the same exact cars. You can actually spend as much in options on a CS as you do on the base price. Pretty crazy.

Everything is indeed a la cart, and very expensive!
I have the Panoramic Roof on my '09 GTS (for sale BTW) and while it's a great option (no issues with it, surprisingly quiet in fact), it was $3,900!!!
Here's a link to my For Sale ad with lots of pics and some videos:
