bluetooth for pandora, no ipod
I want to stream music from my droid phone in my 06 ctts, but will not be using an ipod.
What is my best option? Can I get a Denison BAT 1500 only? No need for gateway 500? And by the way it is important to have good sound quality. On my last ride, the manufacturer had an outlet to plug into receiver.....quality was superb.

You need the GW500 to do this and the BTA1500. The BTA plugs into the GW500, which is the logical interface to the fiber (MOST) buss and the PCM. I've only tried it for a few minutes - but it seemed to work fine at streaming from my HTC Incredible-II (Verizon phone) and displays the music info on the PCM screen (and buttons on the wheel also seemed to work fine.)

I have have installed the abt2010 and the dension gw500/bt1500 and you can not use sound quality and a2dp in the same sentence with either unit. The streaming sounds terrible. Both units will offer a 3.5mm aux input as well as the iPod cable. We have had a few android phones also work as mass storage with the gw500 USB input.
If the car is equipped with the Bose system it is easy to add just a Aux input to the MOST fiber ring without buying a iPod or BT kit
