Navigation CD's Will Not Read - 2004 Cayenne TT
 

Looking for some advice.

I have a 2004 Cayenne TT. While driving today, an error came on screen saying "CD Unreadable". I took out the Navi CD, tried the "West" CD and still nothing but the "CD Unreadable" message. Also, the CD reader is making some strange noises when it tries to read the CD. I tried a music CD and it worked just fine, but it will not read or recognize either of my Navi CD's. Also, when the disks come out, they are really hot.

My disks say they work with PCM Software Version 3.0 or higher, so I'm assuming I have PCM3.

I also tried to do the 1-4-8 reset. It reset and still would not read the Navi CD.

Wondering if this means a whole new head unit? Or, can anyone recommend a place on the East Coast that would be able to repair?
