My whole right head light unit went out on me! The sensor came up stating that my light need to be check. Anyone experience this? Will my warranty cover for this? Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks.

dimf is infamous around these parts
haven't done it myself, but read that the headlight is easily removed by using a tool found in the spare tire compartment. maybe you can push it back in place, secure the connections and tighten it back into place by using the same tool.

some owners with aftermarket cold air intake access the filter for cleaning by removing the headlight assembly, supposed to be easier this way, so I would not imagine it is that difficult to do.

It might help just a tiny teeny bit if we had SOME CLUE what year you're talking about. The 2008-2011 models do have a service campaign or recall for the headlights literally falling out.

HINT: In general - the quality of answers you get on any forum are only as good as the quality of information you provide and the quality of your question.

Thank you all. Just fixed it. I did what Dimf suggested and the headlight unit came back to life! I unlocked the headlight and pulled it out and reassembly and made sure I heard a click when locked. Turn the lights on and Walla! Let there be light! Thank you all again...you guys are the best. I am a newbie and been riding my 2005 CTT whip for a month. It came with a Tubi exhaust systems, Its been chip and 22" OEM. What a truck! Love, love, love.

This is a common issue with the Cayenne. When you have some time, check the headlight mount. It's probably loose. It has 10mm bolts that hold it in place. Tighten them up and it will help with this issue.
