Oil in drivers side IC pipe and all over the back of my car 06 TurboS
Last year when I went to install my BPV's and I pulled the drivers side IC pipe it was full of oil. It poured out all over me and the garage floor. I of course cleaned it and then took it into the dealer to get it checked out. They said there wasn't enough oil in the pipe to be a concern and that I should drive it around some more and bring it back. I drove it around for a few months until I noticed it starting to blow some smoke on start up and blowing oil out on the back of my car. I took it back into the dealer and they tell me that is normal for these cars and that I shouldn't be concerned.
My CPO runs out in Sept and I am very concerned that this turbo seal is on its way out. The outside of the turbo is covered in oil/road dirt and once again when they pulled the ic pipe they said that got a few ounces of oil out and that is normal and so it the blowing of oil all over the back of my car.
I have had turbo cars for years now and none have ever put oil in the IC pipe let alone blow it out the rear of the car. When a turbo seal goes bad that is when I see that happen.
I made another appt at a different dealer to get a second opinon before the CPO runs out.
I just wanted to see if other people have experienced this and what your thoughts are.

You sound way more educated on this matter than myself, but generally speaking, I don't see how blowing oil all over the back of a car is "standard operating procedure" for Porsche. When these cars leave the factory, do the engineers say, "it's fine that there is oil blowing out the back, we designed it that way."
Somethign is definitely not right. I know Cayenne Turbos have a rep for a small amount of oil in the IC hoses. What you described sounds like a definite issue. Is your car chipped/modded? You may want to check the seals on your turbos and or the turbos themselves.

I have also read that some part a valve I think of the emmisions or evap system can go bad and let some oil in the IC pipe. But the amount of oil that I got out of the IC pipe and the amout on the back of my car isn't normal to me. I heard that to replace the turbos on this car the entire motor needs to come out. Thats not really a job I want to do.
