"Service Soon" Message . . .

I almost have 17,000 miles... and just yesterday it gave me a message on the display screen, "Service in 2000" miles. Now it says "Service in 1900 miles". Does anyone know what service this is exactly? What is done? How much does it cost exactly?

Thanks!

Your manual details the service required. Basically, oil change, air and cabin filter change, inspection of brake, suspension, etc. If you haven't changed brake fluid yet, you are probly due too. If you haven't rotate tires yet, do so.

Prices will vary by dealer. You should call around to compare service items and prices.

The first service should be between $300 and $500, brake fluid is not changed at this time, basically just an oil change, and software updates, any warranty issues you may have and service action items they have against your VIN.

I have 6k miiles and a year of having the cayenne and my service light already came on, I think its programmed to do by time, not by mileage, but if the comp figures it out by when the engine needs it maybe i have been driving to hard
