Let's talk Intakes

Looking to get an intake for my 957S but the $695 price tag on these things doesn't sit well in my stomach. Pissed I let one slip on ebay for $200. What are people's reviews on them. What brand is the best to go for? Has anyone had any good gains using just performance air filters? I'm not a fan of using oiled filters due to the MAF problems they cause. Is there a noticeable sound change with stock exhaust? Thanks again guys!

Happy to help you with either the BMC F1 filters or the option of the competition air intake. The BMC filters are certainly very efficient and naturally much less then a full system if you want to go this direction.

Are the BMC filters oiled?

Wow man that is cheap. Exactly what i was looking for. Wonder if i can add dry filters to that so i don't have to worry about the oil.

Hmm you should send them an email , they are back in buisness now . For example I bought for 1.5k primary cat + powerkit , they shouldmbe good for 75hp on my 957 turbo

A thread I had a week ago resulted in no one who had real-world evidence of intakes resulting in any benefit. So, why are you thinking about changing out your intake?

mines should be shipped this week , and I will tell you if I notice any gain or not . For example I will sell my cayenne so I have nothing to lose hilarious

I'm also in the market for an intake. I have a full custom turbo-back exhaust and EPL stage 2 tune. Heck, I'd buy an intake for the sound alone but my 955 turbo feels choked in the upper rps and falls pretty flat.
