Ha, I guess so. Just seems absolutely insane to me. I come from BMWs with $9 plugs. Shocked that Porsche plugs are 1/3 the cost, especially considering everything else is at least 3 times the cost...

 

i wont pay less than 80, i am a well trained by the dealer porsche owner lol.

Those are NGK plugs. I ordered a set, will review when installed.

They aren't "Porsche" plugs. They are simply plugs that will work in any number of cars - hopefully including Porsche. The price is excellent.

 

Let us know also if they are pre-gapped!

 

Some Cayenne user are happy with NGK but not sure if they are Iridium's.

 

I used the NGK plat's in my CTT. I couldn't tell a difference from the Beru's.

My experience with the Iridium's is that they only last longer in an extremely harsh combustion enviroment. EG; superbikes that rev to 14k rpm with high compression.

The CTT insn't any harder on plugs than any other stock vehicle.

 

So is the verdict that these are pre-gapped and good to go?
I have a 2004 CTT, and am just a little curious why these are explicitly marked as the 2005 CTT - was there a change in the gap clearance between years?

 

I'm anxious to find out the answer as well....if so, I will be ordering a set immediately.

The spark plugs are the same from 2003-2006. The reason it shows 2005 CTT in the link is because that's the vehicle BamaScoot had selected when he found the plugs.
I do not believe that these particular NGKs are pre-gapped. Stock gap for 955 Turbo is 0.8mm, so you should check, and adjust if necessary.

 

Price increase? I see $26.40 now.
