Talking Aftermarket Xenons Installed!

I must say I am very Impressed with the quality of the $280.00 Ebay kit. The install was finished (Properly) By Champion for around $160.00 they are 6000k Bulbs and very simple to install, When done properly lol. Here are the results.

Not much to see when off, The bulb sits inthe same stock metal housing. So they appear like stock

glare!!! lol!! how much is it going to be if you bought all OEM parts? I know it's going to be a lot more but you'll get a much better quality and you won't be blinding people...

Bri,

that doesnt work, if your cayenne is made with Halogen, replacing with the xenon one wont work, Toby Penington has been working on that from rennlist no help from dealer either.

If you're talking about just buying the OEM D2S bulbs along with ballasts, then yeah, I have to agree. But I was suggesting also buying the actual headlight housing since the D2S bulb has a different socket configuration than a normal halogen bulb.

That's odd. It should work as far as I know. Did you know what was the problem?

No, OEM upgrade wont work. Talked to Champion. They might release a new techquipment kit in the near future. These lights do not blind people. They are dipped as well. Next to my stock 996 Bulbs they are much brighter and give more of a white light look. The OEM 996 HID bulbs look yellow by comparison. They also cast light at the same level on my garage when parked side by side. I think they are way better than stock!
