PCM 2.1 - Nav CD

Ok so I bought a 2005 CS, can't use NAV... lol

It has no CDs or DVDs included, I'm not sure which ones I need and I don't want to aimlessly go buying them.

SW Version 1.0 at the top of the screen

PCM 04035AD1/0304
System 03505AD1/5003
NAV 00179159/4004

Any help would be appreciated on where to buy or download, dealer is retarded here in Nova Scotia

email tpower@aemltd.com

Thanks

If you have PCM2.1, you'll need the DVD set-up. Contact SunCoast Porsche parts department and they'll hook you up.

Sorry for the late reply Tim but you have PCM2.1 Level 1 software which means currently you can only use an early 2005 Nav disc (DVD) which goes under the passenger seat in the Nav drive. You need the update disc set (3 disc set) from Porsche (around $300) which includes a update disc for the head unit, one for the Nav drive, and then a new Map disc which will go in the Nav drive after you finish the two updates. If you need the TSB which talks about how to do it just PM me.

sure that this 3 update disks can be downloaded from torrents or like. paying money for that is nonsense.

Speaking from personal experience be careful about using torrent files or installing wrong updates cause you will corrupt the pcm or crash it like i had happen to me. cost me $750 to have my pcm sent to becker repair shop in new york to have fixed and correct software installed.
