quick video of a pull in my modded 957 turbo

here is a quick vid and a few more black/green obsessed pics of my newly acquired 957 turbo

bmc filters
secondary cat delete
custom X pipe and muffler delete
ipd plenum

I was planning to add EVOMS diverter valves and tune but after watching the video, it looks to already have a tune in it (not sure about diverter valves). However, after cross referencing my vin with Todd @ EVOMS - it is not their tune, so my rig will get re-tuned from evoms when I am able to get around to it

quick pull at "the track" of course... I will try to get more videos this weekend and take them from my gopro for better quality. The exhaust sounds unreal and is LOUD!

Cool pics and video! You have to love the air suspension and how it does not squat when having a load over the rear axle (unlike the Infiniti SUV in a previous post). Much safer when towing since the front wheels have more traction to do their job.

As a side note, you can tell if you have a tune by logging the boost. If you get 0.8 bar or over, then it is a safe bet their is a tune on it. Stock boost doesn't go above 0.6 - 0.7 bar in comfortable ambient temperature ranges.

Yea...make sure you log the boost. On early 08's, the in cabin boost gauge reads past .8 at full boost.
Scott found out it was a glitch with the early 08's(07 build)

it definitely has a tune in it, not sure who's it is though. Todd from evoms will log and retune when I get time to get back over to his shop. I love this rig though, it tows way better than the 05 and is just an all around better truck

Interesting comment since it is essentially the same chassis. However, I know that Porsche completely replaced the air suspension struts, level control module, beefed up tranny clutch packs, and reprogrammed TCU for normal driving, offroad, and PSM offroad in the 957 CTT/S.

Care to expand on your comment?

the turbos seem to spool a bit quicker with the 08 compared to the 05, the suspension feels much better and the BIG changes...

-backup camera
-ability to shut off parking sensors (cant remember if my 05 had this, if it did, my bad but I didnt know it was on the ceiling)
-sport mode (start in 1st gear without moving into manual mode)

the overall drivability just feels better and for some reason when towing a bigger loan (my boat), the truck doesnt get thrown around as much (so it feels) compared to my 05

not to mention I love the headlights and taillights design better than the 05 (more aggressive in my eyes) and the stock 21" wheels are perfect (I had aftermarket 20" on my 05)

20's on my 05

21's on my 08

What size are your tires? It looks like the rear are wider? I am about to switch out my wheels and tires and want as much meat as possible. Love the green black sickness. I have it as well.
