Has anyone installed this? How much do you guys have to pay for the paint and prep? My bodyshop is really good but they charge a lot of money. Thanks!!

 

im not sure of the pricing but it supposed to cost like 200 buck to paint and but maybe 75 to install hope this helps

well its carbon fibre so its really hard to get the paint job right, but 10k for your body kit is wxtremely expensive deetz seing as it is turbo front bumper, headlight covers, front valence, rear valence, tailight and side skirts, u should have paid 2-3k tops. Now the carbon fibre hood thats a different story. However I have seen some people pay about 400-600 on this forum for the gmeballa carbon hood for the 996, so expect to pay at most 2,000. I would talk to AeroTT he always hooks me up with the body shops and he makes sure u are taken care of.

Fawaz: what wheels?? nothing in the 10k, I paid around 8-9k for my paintjob bumper, bodykit and light cover, Jamy paid a bit more but he had the hood.

It took them 5 weeks to finish the work, both mine and Jamy's. The turbo bumper does not fit right away, there are many things need to be modded, headlight washers, park assist, intercooler etc etc etc etc

 

which shop did ryan send u 2, the one he sent me to took less than 2 weeks to paint the front valence and hood the used porsche paint ,and was less than 800 dollars. they even installed the hood for me

 

Where are you guys getting your parts from?? can someone point me in the right direction for techart side skirts/rear taillight lips and a lowering module.....

 

if you want the techart sides skirts painted and shipped within 2 weeks i might help. I have a set of rear tailight lips painted black which could be painted to blue if anybody is interested, and i could get you the lowering module, I will be in London next week.

Haha WHY does my local dealer have an ad on this page......Brandywine porsche is 4.7 seconds from my house......they have a motorsports division there also so you can always spot people racing on right in front of the dealership......

Also....Heinz from Gemballa North America took some heat in a different thread .....I gotta say he got me the bumper from Germany within 2 weeks (they're sold out) and called me today to let me know hes got everything all set up with my body shop and hes shipping it on wednesday........Definatly on top of his game.........

 

Holly DEETZ : I start to LOVE Vancouver , Bodyshop in here is cheap when compare to your's . It cost me $2500 Cdn ( Not even USD ) for the whole kit installed & painted , front bumper license plate hole filled & repainted , smoke taillight .

It cost me $10000 Cdn for my NSX to repainted & kit installed .
