Back on the market for a Cayenne Turbo....I Think
Back on the market for a Cayenne Turbo....I Think
Well, this past weekend, I had 30 more minutes of seat time, thanks to "Porsche Exchange" in Highland Park, IL. I must say, AGAIN, I am addicted to the Cayenne Turbo.
Currently I have an Infiniti FX45 with about 315HP. It is loaded to the gill including DVD, NAV, Distronic Cruise Control, awesome fit and finish, in Diamond Graphite (GRAY) with Willow (Bamboo-ish) interior. It is pretty fast, as you can go into the 130-140mph range and is pretty smooth.
However, The Torque of the Cayenne Turbo is just (Damn, I gotta have one.) Overall, I think the Infiniti looks better, and some angles of the Cayenne are ....well (Yeesh, WTF is that)
Dead on nose, and tail, its one mean looking beast. It handles like a Porsche, and the acceleration feels very close to a stock 996 turbo (tip,) but I just dont know if its worth double the price of the FX45. (Trying to convince myself it is
)
I plan on sending my other torque toys to FL, and my "only" chicago car would be this Cayenne. That Plus its torque + a performance chip should do the trick, right?? (cough - 95k)
I am leaning towards Lapis Blue with the Beige interior, and light wood package (coincidence.......one at the port)
I wish the infiniti had more power, or I with the Cayenne had better looks. So someone show me some pimped out Cayenne turbos - gemballas, hamanns, etc.... bring on some pics. Convince me this is worth double the price of the FX45. Engine/Performance wise, a no brainer, but Looks................
PS: Do you think Silver with Beige interior is an ugly combo?
Ciao

Lapis and Beige would look nice.. but with the light wood.. not sure about that... Of course I prefer Black.. I think Black on Black or Black with Gray and Carbon would look sweet..
Here are some pics.. and also a link to more pics I have aquired!!
In my oipinion there is no comparison with the FX..
Black Baby!!! 22" are a must

Thank you!! Well it only has 1k miles so its still nice and shiny.. but I think the key is a California Car Duster..along with a cotton mit, and microfiber towels.. I wipe it down each time before driving it, so I usually go 10-14 days before washing.. The more you wash the more chance for small swirls and scratches.. Also Meguires mist spray and a microfiber towel to wipe off fingerprints and road grime..
