Should my ctts have dlr's

So another stupid newbie question? I recently purchased a 2006 ctts. Does not appear to have drl's. I have read about others with same car upgrading their drl's. I was in at the local dealer having plugs and coil packs replaced and asked them and they said was not offered for that year. So anyone know for sure??
I really appreciate the help.
Btw- found out the coolant tubes had been replaced. EXTREMELY happy to hear that. Now all i got left is the cardan shaft hanger.

Are you referring to L.E.D.s?

I think he meant Daytime Running Light.

In Canada, DRL is a must have for year 1989+ vehicle, not sure about states side...

On the 09 CTTS, DRL's are turned on or off using the dashboard display controls on the end of the wiper stalk. Cycle through the display to menu or settings and there will be a setting for lights, and it is in there. On the 09, the DRL's use the main headlights.

I don't believe they had them yet in 2006. I think 2007 was the first year. Do you have lights in your grill?? If not you don't have them.

No DRLs

The 955 Cayenne (2003-2006) did not have DRL. In Canada hey simply had the regular headlamps on full time

The 957 Cayenne (2008 & 2009) have DRL option, standard on CTT. Programmable by Porsche Dealer for 2008, menu option on 2009
