Coolant expansion tank leaks are common in older Cayenne.

I wouldn't consider selling due to a coolant leak lol. The tank may have a small crack in it.

There are, of course, other potential causes, some a bit more involved but not catastrophic. I had a small coolant leak in my 2008 CTT (145,000 miles), and there were some fittings that run through the engine that were in need of replacement.

The thermostat housing is another common source of a leak, and not too difficult to get to.

I saw the picture of the "few drops of coolant", in the front of the car, passengerside.

I think I recognise the location of the drops of coolant on the bottom plate.

I had them on the exact same location, I was doom thinking for the worst, but the cause of the severe leakage turned out to be a worn out 20cm long rubber coolant hose/pipe connecting 2 steel coulantpipes. A very small rubber hose: why not connecting the steel pipes with something stronger than rubber?
I think many other, older CayenneTurbo's, might overcome the same, with that exact same rubber pipeline.
It looks vulnerable, over there.
My hose was torn, under the hose clamb.
Picture of my torn hose pipe included, it is supposed to be a few cm's longer ;-)

Well the leak came back a little over 2 months later with the same MO?? This is nuts!!!

2 months later it happened again after (2) pressure tests showed no leaks!!
