What are you driving?

Yokohama Parada Spec-X... 285/35-22

An XL rated tire that's actually made for SUV's (unlike most other 285/35's)

Treadwear of 420... not a real attractive tread pattern though. And should run about $220.

Should be in stock at all the Yokohama resellers any day now...

I like the 295/30/22 Pirelli Scorpion on the Cayenne.....

soft, expensive and NO XL rating under a 5000 lb. vehicle... the BEST? (When the OP asked for long lasting and quiet)

I have the Pirelli Scorpions but I got them for the looks of the flat sidewalls. In my experience with Michelin I'd say the Diamaris are the best bet for grip and quietness. Prirellis are nice and not too noisy but I think the Michelins will be a bit better.
