Gemballa Cayenne Race Wheels

you are right
i was at a car show in frankfurt a few months ago and remember the At italia stand.
they had an orange gemballa avalanche there with black rims and they claimed they manufactured for gemballa.
i have another question....
22 x 10 is the size i want.
the tyre i seem to need (looking at techart web site etc..) is 295/30/22
that has a load index of 103 but the rolling diameter is perfect.
apparently minimum load index for cayenne is 106.
original 18" tyres have load index over 110.
only tyre that will meet load index is 285/35/22 - this has 107 index BUT increases rolling diametre by over 20mm.
any experiences or advice?

But seriously, when you lay into a corner that load index is vital, and the additional sidewall height will protect your wheels from potholes and curbs, not to mention softening all the bumps and imperfections in general. Those super thin sidewalls are awesome if you drive on perfect roads all the time, or the track. Here in the Metro NY area I wouldn't go larger than 20".
Wait... so the Gemballa wheels are manufactured by AT Italia? Then why the hell does Gemballa sell the exact same wheels for almost double the price? Arrrrrrrrrrrgh... I wish I knew this before I got my Gemballas.
Here is the Pic
Gemballa Avalanche at the AT Italia Stand atAUtomechanika in Frankfurt in Sep. 2006.
i remember asking at the stand and looking at the brochure.
they manufacture for gemballa.
most wheels are gemballa exclusive but they sell the race wheel also.
can iask if you have had issues with the gemballa rims being soft?
a friend has 22" race and he says he has had them repaired 5 times in 3 years from bends (potholes etc..(
