What are the new 21" wheels worth?

Bingo. I don't understand why people think that the wheels would have an affect on snow driving. We're not talking about off-roading, just city snow conditions I'm guessing.

With that being said, I don't think you'll have a very easy time finding a good selection of proper snow tires for a 21" wheel. Go down to 20" atleast, if you can stand the thought of having a wheel that is just big, not huge.

GoldenPEPPA is infamous around these parts
Nearly ALL the 295/35-21 are N0 which means that Porsche basically told Michelin, Conti, Pirelli, etc... to make a 295/35-21 summer/sports tire. There are NO all season options. It's a very inconvenient sized tire. In 22" there are EXCELLENT all-season tires like the Yoko Parada Spec-X.

I have 20" Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow on my 4.6is that I just sold today....sniff....and I never had one problem. They were just as good as the 18" set of winter tires I had. They will be going on the stock Sport Technos for next winter on the CTTS. I had them for two winter seasons driving in blizzards up to Vermont for skiing, highways coming home from work and the occasional doughnut or two in unplowed parking lots.
I do not believe there is a 21" winter tire available but check with Vreedstein(sp?) or Hakkonin(sp?), I can't quite seem to remember the exact names or spellings. Kooser might know because he has a set on his stock Sport Technos. As far as I know though, 20" is the largest winter tire size and I would not recommend winter driving on the stock 21" tires during winter. Maybe by next winter someone will come out with them. I buy most of my tires from Tirerack but don't limit yourself to them since they don't carry the two brands that I tried to mention.

Yup, turns out a friend of mine bought it. He loved it since I got it so I am glad it went to a good home. They are awesome, I miss it already but I am getting really comfortable now with the CTTS and it is pretty damn impressive.
