CTT owners.. How many have replaced/upgraded DV's?
Just curious if there was any performance gains to be had from replacing the stock units? Thinking about doing the following to my wifes CTT...
Air intake (evo, K&N or Green panel filter) Upgrade DV's Software... (GIAC or Protomotive) Custom Exhaust.... Not sure if I am going to do all of this or just some... but looking to get opinions none the less.... |
Nothing like a new toy huh, Alan?!?!?! Congrats on the CTT, I have no doubt you will do what you mentioned and more. Have fun with it, you are building quite a stable.

Definitely upgrade the DV's. You will hold boost better (longer). Its a must if you plan to go with some software. Also, get some bypass pipes at minimum.
The exhaust note with some fabspeed bypass pipes is dreamy! |

DV upgrade is a must. Less lag and holds boost longer. They also will last the life of the car unllike the cheap plastic stock Bosch ones. They are also a complete pain in the arse to install...at least the driver's side ones on Model years '07 and earlier.
