CTT owners.. How many have replaced/upgraded DV's?

Just curious if there was any performance gains to be had from replacing the stock units? Thinking about doing the following to my wifes CTT...

Air intake (evo, K&N or Green panel filter)
Upgrade DV's
Software... (GIAC or Protomotive)
Custom Exhaust....

Not sure if I am going to do all of this or just some... but looking to get opinions none the less....

Nothing like a new toy huh, Alan?!?!?! Congrats on the CTT, I have no doubt you will do what you mentioned and more. Have fun with it, you are building quite a stable.

Thanks Griff! How's the "S" treating you? Any mods yet? Glad to see the RUF is still in your hands... maybe you can bring her out one last time before you sell.

Definitely upgrade the DV's. You will hold boost better (longer). Its a must if you plan to go with some software. Also, get some bypass pipes at minimum.
The exhaust note with some fabspeed bypass pipes is dreamy!

The CTTS is pretty sweet, I am very happy with it. The only mods I have done so far are the Fabspeed bypass pipes, 20% tint, smoked tailights, cleared and smoked side markers and silver hood badge. I have lowering links sitting on my desk in my office that I will get on eventually. I am still trying to decide on wheels as well. I would like to come down with the RUF again, are you guys meeting up every sunday?

DV upgrade is a must. Less lag and holds boost longer. They also will last the life of the car unllike the cheap plastic stock Bosch ones. They are also a complete pain in the arse to install...at least the driver's side ones on Model years '07 and earlier.
