Svc Mgr *****ed me out- I called him on false advertising

The service manager at Pepe Porsche called me cheap, and told me I was nickle & diming him. I showed him his own ad and he said it was old (they've been running the add for over a year), then I showed him it was in the May 2007 NY-Metro Porsche Post. Next he said it was an old ad and wasn't supposed to be there, then he tried to make me think the labor dicount is only 20%, when the ad says 25%. He said fine, what do you want, $100? I said NO, I only want the $45 to which I was entitled. He rudely agreed to give me the $45
Do you believe the audacity? Calling customers names? Then he said it takes 1.5 hours to swap wheels- I looked him in the eye and said don't go there- it takes 40 mintes including getting the car on and off the lift (if that).
Since my car is there waiting for parts to be installed under warranty, I'll wait till I get it back before I call the Dealer's General Mgr.
I'll scan the add later for you all to see.

I never had a problem with them in the past, and they are only 5 min from work. You would think that since I bought the car from them I would get better treatment.

I don't get my Cayenne until Saturday so I can't speak for Porsche service, but I have a BMW and a Jeep, the only difference between them is I get Espresso at the BMW service department and a can of coke when I get the Jeep worked on. Neither can troubleshoot or fix anything on the first try, if the computer doesn't tell them whats wrong they just scratch their heads. Oh Yea, one other difference, one charges $22 for an oil change while the other charges $485

it doesnt matter whether it was supposed to be there or not. You were entitled to that discount. He should have taken it in stride and moved on!

Pepe Ad

I can't post their ad because 6Speed and I are having technical problems. It's a 420kb pdf, if anyone wants to volunteer to post it for me send me a pm with an e-mail address I can send it to where you can access it.

Thanks Russ!

Notice, no small print or disclaimers. They fly by the sat of heir pants, but I have heard Prestige isn't much better.

There is nothing confusing about the ad- he was nickle and diming me!

It's a great offer, if they would honor it. Once I get the car back, I'll let his managers and the dealership's principal know how he treats customers, almost had me go to the Attorney General, and called me cheap.
Cheap? I bought a brand new Porsche from them last year! I did get $8k off the sticker because I bought it before it arrived in port, and it was the beginning of Cabriolet season.

Are all the Porsche dealers in NY shady?

Who is the best dealer in NY? For both sales and service.

I brought my Cayenne from Westmont (Chicago) Porsche. The sales team was amazing and the service there was simply spectacular...but now that I'm in NYC that's another Story.....I'm still waiting on my perm. reg from Pepe.... The first and only experience with Pepe so far wasn't bad at all....we'll see when i come in for service...
