Cayenne advice needed!

I want to replace my Audi A6 Avant (wagon) with a 2008 Cayenne Tip 6 cylinder. It priced out around $56,000 w/options. My dealer has a new 2006 Cayenne S he will sell me for $48,000 with similar options. Gas mileage is worse, horsepower +55, older model, color ok.. What would you do?
Thanks,

Buy the Cayenne S, enjoy it for 1 year then replace it with a second hand 2008 Cayenne S. You get to enjoy the faster Cayenne S plus you save A LOT of money on depreciation!!

Advice, Thanks

The dealer car is a standard CS w/Tip/Bose/PS/PSM/18" Cayenne wheels/Silver exterior over Grey leather interior.

If I were you I would call around for the 06 Titanium S, there should be some around, they are about 10-13K off the msrp.. those are loaded..
You can get a really nice one for 55-58K..
The reason they dont show up on inventory cause they have to mark them sold to get the dealers rebate...

08 Cayenne V6 MSRP of $55K, you can get for $49K, 06 STit MSRP of $68K you can get for about $54, I made these deals and struggled with this for 2 months. I finally got the 08, all things considered I think it's a better deal. New 06 STit's are starting to thin out.

I would definitely recommend buying the car with the most power available.

i also have to agree here. i did drive the 08 v6 and i found it to be somewhat lacking a little bit power. My CS felt it had enough on the tap. :-)
but then again, i did not push the v6 since it was new and not my car, so i can't drive it as aggresively.

I think this is a no-brainer. Get the '06 V8 with the big discount. You get more power, and better value. Gas mileage between the 6 and the 8 aren't all that different. Interior for the 2 cars are the same.

If the price is right, the color is right, and the equipment is right, I don't think you need the Titanium Edition.
