Just some questions for current V6 owners as getting ready to order one for October delivery as an '05 model. Wife also had me compare with the Volvo XC90 recently, as they have a great Overseas Delivery Program and offer better mileage. However, after spending a day in both, and trying the Touareg & FX, even she admits the Cayenne is the one to go with due to handling, feel, sound, tightness, looks, but not power(?).

So, is it?

What things do you like about your decision to buy the V6 Cayenne? What don't you like or appreciate? Satisfied with the power? The quality? Overall? Please share thoughts as I am ready to plunk down the money based on the '05 Order Guide and feel good about doing so, just wondering if everyone else has had a good experience.

By the way, wifey won't let me pop for the S, and am currently a '03 C2 Speed Yellow Coupe owner, although haven't found time to put many miles on since buying it last year due to our daughter arriving 1/2/03(our first!), so I am a long time Porsche fan and devotee.

Option to be ordered are light: white with black, hitch, all 4 heated seats and steering wheel, 18" Turbo, and... that's about it. No sunroof even. Might do the auto climate control, but don't know. Should be sweet though amd I can't wait. Which brings up another question: For those who have the standard 17's, do you like them? Or do you wish you had gotten the wider 18's?
