nice rides! the cloudy/dark scenery gives the pictures quite an effect!

I love the C4S, Its one of the nicest porsche's to date. Though I wished they played the 997 C4S right with the strip between the taillights.

I agree with Nav, the clouds had an affect to the picture.

They would be a lot easier to clean. Proably look good too.

hey jumper, i have a basalt 4s and am also getting a Cayenne. i love driving the 4s in the winter, but ground clearence kills you sometimes. too hard to take it skiing most of the time.

The 4S is great in winter. I love to go out during and after snow storms. I don't find ground clearance a problem with the fresh stuff, just plough through it. But yah any snow bank that is heavy or hard packed you won't get through any may even do some damage. So I don't even attempt it and stay on the roads that are ploughed.

The Cayanne is a great, its actually feels tight like the 4S and turn PSM off and its also a lot of fun. Both are the perfect daily drivers.

are you usuing all seasons on the cayenne?

i am ordering with strd 17 inch which i will use for winter and have picked up some 20 in sport techno's. got them before the machine!



i see you had an RR, i have an 06 LR3 and it is wicked in the winter. the spouse gets it all the time so that is why i am ordering the cayenne.

Yes all seasons for now. Planning on getting some real winters this season. The all seasons just don't cut it for the really bad days.
The RR was really a nice vechical too, just didn't have the go power of the Cayenne and it was to big and you can't drive it fast like the Cayenne. It was a step up from the Discovery 2 that we had before it but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
