06 Cayenne Turbo S?

I am getting a very good deal on a brand new CTTS (off the lot), actually a bit cheaper than the 08 Turbo.
I love the power in the CTTS, and it looks great (sport design kit, et al). The '08 looks great too, but have not driven it. I will have to wait a little bit for the '08s as they all are sold out here.
Can I have your opinions on which would be the better buy:

a) driving experience wise
b) financially ( i think i already know the answer to this)
c) any other inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I asked that question a few weeks ago. From what I can tell the '08 Turbo is still the better option in the long run.

The best thing about the '08 is PDCC other than that, I think the '06 is the better buy. It already dropped like a rock in value, it shouldn't continue to fall so drastically. The '08 will depreciate quickly as well, and does not do anything much better except control the body roll a little better. Drive them both and make the decision. I choose the CTTS you may feel differently, good luck it is a hard choice......

Hard Choice, but good to be in that position. I would Chose the 08 Turbo simply because I like the updated exterior, will not look dated in a year's time, and some pretty cool mods will propably be around the corner if not already available

I just went through the same thing. I opted for the CTTS. The dealer I use had one with the Sport Design Pkg, which I really thought made it look a lot better. I don't keep my cars very long (Avg.1-1.5 years), so for me it was easier knowing that I will probably not loose my butt as bad when I trade it or sell it. I did drive an 08 with PDDC and thought it was wonderful, but not worth the price over the CTTS. Just my .02

Get the '06. More horsepower, lower depreciation, and in my opinion, better look. There's nothing to be gained on the '08. Interior is exactly the same, big gaping grill looks odd. Gas mileage may be marginally better on the '08, but this should be a non-factor when buying this type of vehicle.
