headrest can't be removed on 2011!

i was unable to remove headrests on my 2011 cs when i picked up the car. it makes it easier to put in the car seats. after further inquiry, i am told that they can only be removed by the dealer after signing some kind of waiver!!! what the hell, i guess we can't be trusted anymore!!

You need to remove one of the plastic cap where the metal posts are inserted. I can't remember which side since I sold the car. But you will see a push bottom once you take off the plastic and that's all.

Some sort of safety thing. Some dumb manufacturers make you drive with your head forward all the time because they have fixed the headrest in a forward position. All Hondas and the BMW 3-series convertibles are like that.
