Anyone here get any discounts on XM/Sirius?

Has anyone found any good prices on XM/Sirius or know of any special codes?

Looks like the one year is $159.39 and 2 years is $304.29. I remember a time when you didn't renew and you ignored their mailings, they would give you great discounts like $79/year, but I'm not sure if they do those things still? Anyone else renew? Price?

i didnt renew mine and got several emails with lower pricing. finally got a letter saying last chance and it was 50% off the norm but i didn't renew still. using a pandora via my iphone

Just renewed


$25 for 6 months :-)

They asked if I wanted to get $95 per year, but why would anyone do that. I can just call back after 6 months and I guess hope for a promotion.

Anyways, saved me a bunch..Thanks.


I also used a Debit Card that will have 0 balance by the time they try to Autorenew me. :-)

My wife negotiated 80 bucks for two vehicles for 1 year.
I do not have the traffic, just the stations and weather.
We've paid as much as 12.00/vehicle /month to as little as 4.00 and now this.
It's a huge conspiracy these companies, cable is the same. Everyone gets a different rate for the same service.
Go to the cancelation department, they are the ones that will work with you the most when you tell them, you've had enough and want to cancel.

Nothing is fair. Reminds me of Propery Tax here in California. The guy next to me pays 3k less a year for the same neighborhood. Go figure. Let's thank our govt.

threatened to quit service today, and they gave me 1 year for 105 with traffic. As stated above, I use Pandora via bluetooth and if it weren't for traffic, I would have cancelled.

I'm embarrassed to say I own stock in them.
Making it difficult to cancel (you Must talk to a rep....can't do it online) and giving your best price only on a customer's threat of leaving are terrible ways of garnering customer loyalty. Creating programming that blows away Pandora and not overpaying for talent are better ways to grow their business.
