Curious: What's your turbo's MPG?
Just looking for a real world estimate of MPG on combined driving.
|
PCM says 15.7mpg total. If I drive it non-aggressively, then I can get 20+ easily on the highway.
|
I'm at 15.9 averaging 4300 miles
|
On the highway at 75 MPH i can get 23 MPG without babying it, my combined mileage is about 17.5 MPG at an average speed of 42 MPH
|
I have to really focus on pressing gently to get below 17 even with a healthy dose of Highway mixed in. 15-16 is realistic. Thank heavens for the generous sized tank.

16.9 mpg average over 31,000 miles
Highway: 24 mpg City: 15.5 mpg For me, 85% city over the total miles |

Ceramics are perfect.
Was told they have soooo much life left, whatever that means. The ceramics suit my driving style perfectly Love the smooth pedal feel that belies their awesome stopping power:cool: |
I definetly put them to work quite often with my driving

1st question: higher up in altitude is less air, less air, less efficient. Same scenario im running now, in ft laud, I'd get a bit better mpg. So many stop lights, plenty of stop and go. Never use auto start/stop button.
2nd question: I was told my pccb's should last twice as long as regular brakes and cost twice as much when I have to replace. Was also told they should last life of the car. Don't know from experience just what I've been told, we'll see which is the right answer. |

Are you referring to the PCCB or aftermarket ceramic brake pads? Don't the ceramic rotors last like 200k miles? Even with PCCB (if you have them), how often do you have to replace the pads?
