Is anyone's car departing Emden on March 29?

Mine supposedly is on a vessel leaving the port of Emden on that date. Would be fun to share the trip, so to speak...

Hi, mine left Emden March 13th, arrived in Halifax (of course mine had to go there) on the 22nd and now on its way to Rhode Island sometime tomorrow. I'm in Louisiana so it will then go to Houston then truck to my dealer. It should be here the week I get back from Easter vacation. I ordered around 12/20/12 and waiting for anything is where I find my weakness. I ordered two X5 diesels (one 2011 and one 2012 to replace the 2011). The X5 (made in South Carolina) wasn't as bad as the Cayenne wait and I think if I do this again I will search the US inventory to avoid a four month or longer agony, lol. Good luck with your order and hope it's worth the wait. :)

In case you aren't already using it, find out the name of the vessel and then go to:
http://marinetraffic.com/ais/ to see where it is, next destination, speed, etc. Very interesting and informative.

Yup, it's the Bangkok Highway, shown to arrive 4/6 (one day later than what my dealer said) by the marinetraffic site.

Mine hit Houston yesterday, about a six hour road trip whenever it gets on a truck. No telling how long it sits there though. Would be great if it was ready for the coming weekend, will see.

so the ship was supposed to arrive today at 4PM, but as of now (6 hours later) it shows on marinetraffic.com to be not even within terrestrial range. Weird...

Properly time zone discrepancy, It will be there when you wake up tomorrow. If you keep checking it you will go blind, that's what my mama always told me.

Yup. A few miles from port as of this morning.
