Techart Leather Products
Techart Leather Products
Hi All,
There are a couple of things I really should have spec'd when order my TTS, but I guess most of us feel like this.
The one thing I didn't realise you could get is the lower seat consoles (the bits that hold the control switches etc) are available in leather instead of the not very nice plastic they are as standard.
I spoke to my local OPC today and they said as its an exclusive option it can't be ordered (crazy don't see why, but there you have it!).
It bugs me every time I open the doors, I notice that Techart do it, I was wondering if any one has ever fitted any Techart leather parts and what the quality was like, is it on parr with OEM?
Thanks in advance.

They might not sell it as a package, but you should be able to order the individual parts.
To each their own of course, but I'm happy with the plastics they used. It feels and looks solid unlike a lot of other makes these days.
We did full leather in the 996 plus the extended bits which included the seat controls (and air vent slats...). If it had been in the budget I would have done full leather again, but I wouldn't have gone crazy with all the extra bits again. Some of it hasn't held up well due to heavy use, some just isn't normally seen (obviously a different entry angle between a 911 and Cayenne though), and all of it is that much more to take care of (and most is small bits that are hard to deal with).

I still don't buy their story since they'd have to be able to get them to repair cars when needed. You might try asking another dealer. The Suncoast guys have always been helpful when I've asked them such questions.
Try www (dot) exclusiveoption (dot) com
I had to be a little creative with the website so it would not be a link as they are not a sponsor.
I've used them for a few parts and the quality is wonderful. As good as OEM.
