winter wheel/tire setup for my '13 GTS

I still have our winter wheels and tires from our '06 ****. They are 18" OZ Canyons in a 43 offset w/ 255/55/18 Blizzack Dmz v1 tires. According to tire rack, they should fit fine.

They don't have TPMS sensors though. Tire rack has the sensors for $324, which seems very reasonable. Do I need to have these activated, or can the car do this process on its own?

Does that include the required special valve stems? And what happens if you run without? Do you get a fault?

Yes $324 including stems.

I imagine you get an error message, but good question.

I'm writing this based on my memory, can't remember the exact steps, but it can be done by yourself easily.

Go into the tire pressure menu and select adjust, choose the size of the wheels, type of tires on it. Once it's done the car will show system is learning, just drive it for a bit until the message disappears.
