Cheers,
Yep, the little beast should be here in 2-3 weeks, max. I suspect I will hear on Tuesday that she is already on boat. Took 2 weeks to the day that I was notified she shipped till the Cayenne showed up. If the California doesn't sell by then, will have to consign her. Much to my chagrin.

Have not done the exhaust/tips yet. Want to though. What are you guys gonna do? That is the one thing I miss about my GTS Panamera, that burble. It was addicting.

I like the exclusive shifter, and may make the switch. I am gonna use the CF one for now though. Just ordered leather key pouches (beige for Cayenne as it has the beige/black interior, red for turbo S as it has the red/black interior) and key trim (white for both cars) from Suncoast.

Now to decide on some other bits and pieces.

Went with the full Akra evo kit and CF tips - sounds great! Just saw the a local Turbo S pre-launch in Rhodium silver and its pretty, seriously thinking of getting the ragtop version.

Cheers,

I only wish the ragtop was hardtop. Grown too accustomed to it with the Cali.

How did the exhaust sound on the Rhodium Silver launch car?

I am gonna look at that Akra system. The CF tips are awesome. Feel like an idiot switching them after paying extra for the square ones. Ce la vie..

Gotta clip of that exhaust you have?

What was your build again?

The wait has been killing me. I hope it arrives by the end of the month. Here is the original post of my CTTS build.

Great build, mate. I think you will love it.

After I clicked on the link, I remembered having replied to it...

I think you will not be disappointed. I am amazed how much little fit and finish updates they have done to the Cayenne since the original model year.

I am so happy being back in mine and out of the Panamera. Loved the Panny, but just not for me. I didn't realize how much bigger the Panamera drove than the Cayenne.

Jason, on the 991 TTS, some burbling at rest while pressing the gas pedal (didn't drive her). Raspier than the 997 TTS OEM exhaust.

Here you go, the Akrapovic evolution on the CTTS

Bloody awesome sound.

Is that the full evolution system, slip on, etc?

Thanks for taking the time to do that!

Jason, what other systems are you considering?

I am stuck between the Tubi slip on, Akra slip on and the full evo system.

I have the bypass on now, but maybe I will take them off and put an exhaust system on. I think the combo of bypass and exhaust system would be too loud for normal driving...

Tubi primarily.

Although I am a fan of the Akrapovic systems.

I think Big Easy just lightened my wallet again.

Hmmm. Let's see. I am tempted to get a tune to bring mine to a "supposed" 550HP to try and keep up with you and RAK

I am of course sold on the yellow brakes for next time.

Other than that I am laying low on other mods for now.
But of course if I keep reading your posts that could change

Rob
