Turbo vs Turbo s ?????????????????

How is the 50hp difference achieved? My understanding is that it is done thru more boost. Is this correct or are there other differences ?

HOiYA will become famous soon enough
I recall reading on a forum that the primary differences in the CTT/CTTS engine wise are:
  1. ECU in the CTTS is tuned to deliver more power
  2. difference in intake manifold - not sure what the difference here is though
  3. CTTS has larger intercoolers - which would make sense since it has to handle the extra heat produced from the additional boost

There is an FVD tune for the turbo good for 50hp. No need for any additional mods.

That looks seriously impressive comparing stock to FVD tune.
When 'over boost' is factored in for stock or FVD, the difference appears to be less significant though.

Keep in mind that is a piggyback and not an actual software upgrade. In my experience, a piggyback will leave around 30 wheel horsepower on the table with the Cayenne/Panamera Turbo (compared to an ECU tune). Currently, GIAC is the only company who offers an actual software remap for the 958 Cayenne Turbo or Panamera Turbo.
