Got my CT Dyno'd

I would like to share some dyno numbers of my CT. The car has almost 74,000Km and has fabspeed secondary cat delete pipes only. This is just a baseline number as I'm planning to get GIAC tune very soon! I will post another dyno sheet after the tune. Also, I just received IPD Plenum. Next round will be Plenum + GIAC tune :D.

That was done on Dyno Dynamics A.K.A "heart-breaker" in 5th gear which reads lower than Dyno Jet and Mustang. The operator told me a stock ZO6 C6 puts down the same (HP at crank) numbers on the same dyno. The temperature was in low 30's C (~ 86 F) at sea level.

Hard to compare results from different Dynos so comparing numbers from a Mustang means little. Can't wait to see numbers with same car on the same dyno. Hopefully temperture will be close. Would love to see it with just GIAC & then again with IPD. Still need convinced IPD helps. Easy to spend OPM.hilarious Awaiting your results. Rep to you!

I'm looking for a 958 Turbo, and also a bit skeptical and would like to see the GIAC first to know for sure the value of the IPD.

I just installed the IPD yesterday. Definitely feels like it gained power. I can feel the increase in torque down low, it spools even faster and holds the boost for longer. Not sure if it's worth doing a dyno for IPD only.

Where are the fans? Even in ~70F temps, these cars have 25-30 WHP swings without a proper fan setup. We use 6x 70mph scroll fans configured to blow perfectly into the inlets in order to get accurate intake air temperature readings. Else the IATs are too high for an accurate test.

Thanks for the info, Austin. A fan was used with these pulls. I do not know its specs but it was big :D it was placed in front of the car. However, the ambient temperature in here is normally hot.

I'm getting your tune very soon! I'll PM you some questions.

I shipped out my ECU to GIAC yesterday! The turnaround should be about a week. I can't wait!! :D

UPDATE

I just got a confirmation that my ECU will have the switching capability between stock and tuned. So I will definitely have the car dyno'd with the Plenum only.

That is good news. I had my tune done a year ago and the hand switcher was not available yet. I need to follow up with GIAC as well.

I've been told they're able to do that for early models. Since my CT is 2012 (12/11), they were able to have that activated for me :D.

Heh. You had me excited for a moment. I was told the switcher was "around the corner" and that was back in June. Guess I'll have to wait and see if it is available for my MY2014.
